Oh that's great I usually don't use these much since I would always rather playing the game. But fiddling around with this now should hype me up even more

I'm probably going havok because lightning seems more.. well I suppose its best described as Lightning being more like a sword and Fire being more like an Axe. Theres something about Lightning that makes it seem more.. Uh.. whats the word?
Ok i'll try again. Diskworld death uses a scythe for most people but royalty gets the sword.

I can't remember from the beta, but at the end of the day, they'll end up having what the players want. I.e. respec-able feats.

It was confirmed some time ago about respecc for a certain amount of coin/gold. I don't think it ruins the game, I mean, as a PoM I might actually want to mix Divinity + Vengeance. but once I hit 50+ I want to go full healer Not having the option to respecc would mean I would either go healer from the get go, or reroll ... I like respeccs. But I think they should've a global cooldown, 3 - 5 days or something instead of gold, it annoyed me in wow that I had to spend 50G per respecc on my druid, since I had full tank and resto gear, and most of the times I would jump between speccs and roles. -_- while I was having trouble to keep up with gold, others were buying Epic flyings on their alts. go figure. . Give respecc! But with cooldown. that's all I ask ^^.

Pffft! Most people pick a role and then stay with it for months and even years and maybe randomly respecc once in a while before they respecc back...
So I can't really say that I agree with a cooldown instead of paying for it, when its just a cooldown people will respecc all the time because they just have to wait, when its more and more gold, its hard work and therefor they'll learn how to stay a specc ^^ And those that don't won't have a mount =)

OK - Think about it in real life. If you trained to be a certain type of warrior it would take a while to train your skills. If you trained with a sword it would take a lot of experience using a sword. If you then wanted to start using a polearm you wouldn't just pay money to some invisible force and automatically become good at another weapon or fighting style. I think this is a cheap excuse for a money sink. You would have to start training with a polearm.
If you wanted to use a sword again then you would have to do a bit of training with it to get your skills back but not as much as you had to learn in the first place. This is how feats could work if the game was made mroe realistic.
If the game was made to favour ease of use over realism then I say you should train in certain areas and then be able to switch between the ones you want at will.

If it was supposed to be as real as possible you wouldn't even have feat points... You'd get skills for using the weapon ^^ I think paying for respeccs is the most fair thing to do really and the most succesful.

True taking you to the logical conclusion of all out realism would suck, but paying money to change the skills or your character just seems incredibly artificial.

Well can you imagine levelling up as DPS Priest and then trying to get groups to level your healing? "PoM LFG!" "You have been invited to a Group" "Tank has died" "WTF Hael!" "I have low skill, need to raise it up!" "OMG NOOB!" "You have been kicked from the group" or omg the tank keeps dying..
