Why do you want to join the Daughters of Hecate
A friend, seeing as I am guild-less, aired the idea of joining her guild. That aside, I have seen and noted the occasional OOC recruitment advertisement in-game, but refrained from acting up on it. Mostly because I'm new to the game and wanted to have a look around before starting to tie myself up. Now however, I find myself wishing for something more than the occasional random RP, and DoH have gotten some quite good recommendations! So here I am, more-or-less humbly hoping to be accepted. (Should probably be noted that I haven't had much experience with forums, so I apologize in advance if I messed up the post.)
Explain in a few words what Roleplaying means?
In my eyes, roleplaying is exactly what the term implies. Playing a role. Simply put, you form a role, and you act as you believe it would. Some would say roleplaying is objective, but I can't help but think that roleplaying is definitely subjective. After all, you play the role as YOU think it should be played. But to close the issue: Roleplaying is acting.
What class, gender and race will your character be?
Evelisha is a red-haired female of the Cimmerian bloodline. She is, however, not of the usual Cimmerian war-proffesion of the Barbarian or the Bear Shaman, but instead that of the Guardian - counting on sheer strenght of will, heavy armor and superb stamina to see her through her battles, rather than ferocity and agility.
Write a short history of your characters life in the clan, if they were born there, or a short history of how your character came to join the clan if you were an outsider or one of their servants?
Evelisha's past before her brief encounter with a party of slavers leading to her capture and enslavement aboard the vessel bound for the Barrachan Isles, is a shrouded and well-guarded secret - save that she lives by the sword.
Thus, after having regained her freedom in the wilderness and by the blood of her captors, Evelisha wandered the streets of the pirate settlement of Tortage, where she in a rather shady establishment named "The Thirsty Dog" found employment as a woman-at-arms. And so, having been offered coin and a chance to leave Tortage behind by an organization or clan - the details of the contract carried less weight than the pouch of gleaming silver - Evelisha set out from pirate-infested Tortage to report for whatever duty her new paymasters had in store for her.
Do you promise to uphold the roleplaying server rules issued by Funcom when they are finalized?
Well, tempted to say that of course I would hold to the rules, as long as I'm paid to do it. But to avoid complications: I promise to uphold the roleplaying server rules issued by Funcom when they are finalized.
